Noel Christmas CardThis is the card I sent out this year. It was a very easy, simple card to make. The one hang up I had was the embellishment. Before I added it, the card was too white. I tried gem stones, but they don't go through the mail that well. I looked at Stickles, but couldn't find a color that matched the glitter paper I used. What I finally did was take my 1/8" punch and made a lot of dots from the glitter paper and then glued one on each card. The glitter paper I used was a messless glitter paper. I could run my hand over the top of it and not have a bit of glitter on my hand. I liked it for that reason, but it is a bit thick compared to other glitter paper. This is an A7 card so it is a bigger card, but I don't always like to send the same size card every year. I saw the embossing on another card on someones blog and fell in love with it. It is put out by Crafts-too and is called "Noel". I had no trouble running this embossing folder through my Cuttlebug. I rounded the corners just to give it a look that is not so square. I hope you enjoy this card!
