Fall Leaves

Fall Leaves

When ever I make a card, I try to use as much cardstock from my scrap pile a possible. I won't be able to give too many of the colors of paper or companies that put them out, but you can use your own imagination if you try to make this card. It was really very easy to make, the hardest part was picking out paper colors that go together. First, the three stacked leaves, the top two are made from just ordinary card stock. The bottom leaf is cut from purple mirror paper as is the little leaf by the word "Fall". The leaves were die cut from Nestibilities using the triple leaf dies and then embossed using the same dies. The middle leaf is made using a leaf die and embossing folder put out by Provo Craft. I did this just to add a little texture. The darker background is blackberry shimmer paper. I ran this paper through my Cuttlebug using distressed lines embossing folder. The shimmering orange paper strip in the card is a piece of scrap paper that I had. I made the fall label using a font on the computer and then cutting it with the tri label by Nestebilities. I use these a lot and would recommend getting them. I made the card for a friend of mine who will be celebrating her 90th birthday. Enjoy the card.

Paper - purple mirror card stock, blackberry shimmer paper, orange shimmer paper that has some kind of pattern on it, rust card stock, mustard card stock, off white cardstock

Accessories - triple leaf die by Nestibilites, leaf die and embossing folder by Provocraft, tri label by Nestibilites, distressed lines by Provocraft. I also used pop dots in between the stacked leaves.

Because the base of the card is a bit on the dark side, I did write a note with the computer on an off white cardstock scrap and glues that inside. This was a very easy card to make and didn't take much time at all, a good card if you need to make one in a hurry.
